Nils Dahl

Shidoshi-Ho - 4 Dan

Nils Dahl comes from Bonn to the Bujinkan Dojo Duesseldorf. He already began to train Bujinkan as a teenager, first in the Bujinkan Zanshin Dojo and later in the Bujinkan Dojo Wirges. He also gained experience in capoeira, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His keen interest in Japanese culture led him to study at the University of Düsseldorf and the Bujinkan Dojo Duesseldorf. A half year stay in Japan due to his study gave him the opportunity to regularly maintain training at Grandmaster Hatsumi Dojo. Nils especially estimates the versatility of the system in Bujinkan: "I am fascinated by the variety and immensity of the training, were the traditional techniques and principles can be easily adapted to the needs of today. This shows that the Bujinkan is a living martial art, and not an inanimate or rigid tradition. "As a coach, and in his own training Nils gives great importance to the basic techniques (Kihon), because only then is there a basis for more advanced exercises.
